Institutional support provides solid infrastructure
Scholar Strategy is strongly committed to distance learning. With this commitment, Scholar Strategy has developed a solid infrastructure and support system to maintain the quality and integrity of all of our online programs. For instance, Scholar Strategy's entire distance learning program is safeguarded by some of the highest levels of protection available in the information technology industry. From the time a student logs on, through the transfer of information, to the back up of information, Scholar Strategy has secure safeguards in place to prevent intrusions by outsiders and to protect the privacy of online students.
Before any student may access S.S.R.U.I.N., the student must have an access ID and password. An additional password is given to students to access their individual classrooms. The S.S.R.U.I.N. site provides users with varying programs of access to its information and services, depending on their need. For instance, a faculty member or administrator has access to different information than a student.
All courses are designed using a highly sophisticated course management software tool.To prevent physical intrusions, the program committee building is protected by video surveillance and only those with security access may enter.
The rapid growth of Scholar Strategy's online education program underscores the need for distance learning and the important role it plays today for working adults who wish to continue their education while maintaining their work and family life. Scholar Strategy realizes this need and has fulfilled it with a quality online educational program that meets, and in many ways exceeds the standards established by the traditional classroom setting. Scholar Strategy anticipates continued growth in distance learning programs and can serve as a role model to other schools for the integration and delivery of advanced education programs in the online environment.
